Specialist counselling, education and social care support — delivered with over 30 years of experience and a deep commitment to every person we serve.
"Behind every behaviour is a story, a need, and a person who just wants to be understood."
The Support Practice was founded by Jacqueline Booth-Dickson — an integrative counsellor and specialist practitioner with over 30 years of experience supporting individuals, families, schools and organisations through life's most complex challenges.
Jacqueline's journey began at home — opening her heart and home to vulnerable children with complex needs. That lived experience gave her a depth of understanding that no textbook can teach, and it drives everything she does today.

Safeguarding is central to all aspects of our work. We are committed to promoting the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and vulnerable adults at all times. While confidentiality is an important part of counselling, there are circumstances where we have a professional and legal duty to share information if there is a risk of harm.
We work in line with UK safeguarding legislation and professional frameworks, and all concerns are managed sensitively, proportionately, and in the best interests of the individual.
If you have a safeguarding concern, please contact Jacqueline directly or refer to your local authority safeguarding board.
